Land to keys

How we build

We are the developer, the builder and the seller. One company is accountable for your home from the first survey stake to closing day.

01

Find the land

Infill lots and larger parcels where a well-planned home, or a home with an ADU, fits the neighborhood.

02

Design

Plans built around what Triangle buyers ask for: guest suites, first-floor bedrooms, open kitchens, outdoor rooms.

03

Permit

We prepare and file plans with the city or county and manage every review.

04

Build

Licensed trades we schedule, supervise and inspect under our own general contractor license.

05

Sell

Listed and sold by Covenant Realty, our own brokerage, and backed by a 2-10 warranty.

The Covenant warranty

Backed for ten years

Every new Covenant Signature home includes a 2-10 warranty, so our commitment continues long after closing.

1year

Workmanship

Coverage for workmanship and materials in the first year.

2years

Distribution systems

Plumbing, electrical and HVAC distribution systems.

10years

Structural

Major structural components of the home.

Coverage details, limits and exclusions are set out in the warranty documents provided at closing.

Olumide Olurinmade, CEO of Covenant Signature
Olumide OlurinmadeCEO, Covenant Signature · Broker-in-Charge, Covenant Realty
A contract ends at closing. A covenant doesn't.

Covenant Signature grew out of more than twenty years in real estate. Olumide Olurinmade has been a licensed real estate broker since 2004, has been licensed in North Carolina since 2011, and is the owner and Broker-in-Charge of Covenant Realty in Durham.

Since 2019 he has developed new homes as an investor, staying hands-on in every build: lining up subcontractors, managing schedules and walking each job site. Covenant Signature, a licensed North Carolina general contractor, now builds those homes under its own license.

Today we buy the land, design and build the home, and sell it through our own brokerage, so the same team that made every decision stands behind it. Many of our homes pair a main house with a detached ADU, giving owners room for family, a private office or rental income, subject to local rules.
